KONY 2012 Cover The Night
Cover the night, hmm... more like 420 eh? Activism? More like 'lacktivism' or even vandalism. Cover the night was NOT successful. Having posters in the most awkward places, as well as 'Graffitiing' words such as KONY and COVER THE NIGHT is not really going to grab someone's attention. Besides, 100 million people have watched the video, and 200+ countries are involved. How much more ATTENTION do you need? Besides, the kits were all sold out within 2 minutes of the KONY 2012 video being released. Great cause and stuff but I mean how do you keep peeps interested in your "awareness" events if you have nothing but online print-outs. People were more concerned about their teens staying away from 420, than the KONY cause. Walking in the streets with a bunch of druggies, putting up posters, doesn't seem ideal. Bad timing, few volunteers, and dying out organization. So much for activism.

My Impression on KONY 2012.
While watching the KONY 2012 documentary...
1 minute into it: Good beginning, nice phrase at the start.
3 minutes into it: Fairly dramatic music, as well as more reasons to watch a half hour video
5 minutes into it: Speechless
10 minutes into it: Still engaged in the video. Thinking of how terrible a man Kony is.
15 minutes into it: More of the backstory towards Kony.
20 minutes into it: Whoa... I feel bad for the children facing the terrible sins of Kony.
25 minutes into it: There's a huge cost to two chunks of metal, 2 pieces of string, and a bunch of posters?
28 minutes into it: Even after explaining why funding is appreciated, why do we need him to become a celebrity? I mean George Clooney wants Kony to be well known. EVERYONE SEES CLOONEY!!!
30 minutes into it: Its over...
My opinion on the KONY 2012 organization is that it has a great cause. I see very much potential in it, and the Pros outweigh the Cons. The Pros are vast and self-explanatory. The Cons however, are fairly subtle. The money going to the TRI organization (part of KONY 2012) has not been specified, and neither has the amount needed been specified. I don't oppose the KONY 2012 organization, but the amount of money needed for the organization must be specified in order for people to feel safe giving their money to strangers.

This Blog is Unknown to the Public. Not that i want it to be!

This is Anjelloe here making another useless blog due to the massive amounts of time that i have on hand. I am interested in Debating, helping the homeless, the Air Force, video games, drumming, and wasting time (the thing that I do best).
